Food is life, food is medicine, food give energy and we all need food to survive. We wouldn't exist without food but too much or too little of it becomes a problem. Finding the right balance in order to achieve optimum dietary and nutritional intake is very difficult but achievable. I am a firm believer that food should be savoured and enjoyed and I don't believe in the concept of calorie counting and FAD dieting but rather, knowing the right balance i.e the right quantity of food, the mix and how much food should come from what food group in order to get the best from our food and for our bodies to make the most out of the food we eat.
